SWIM
YMCA Early Risers Swim Group – Early Risers is a swimming program for adults with its focus being physical fitness and competition for every ability. This group meets early in the mornings to work on refining stroke technique and developing endurance for competition either at the Master Swimming level, summer swim leagues, or for triathlons.
BIKE
Roanoke Riders – Wednesday Night and More – Open group ride every Wednesday evening! Meet at 545pm (check our group page for start location). Two ride distances…up Mill Mtn to the stop sign on the parkway and back or an over 20 mile loop ride going left past the stop sign on the parkway and connecting back to the Greenway. Several paces. All welcome! Feel free to invite others or post other rides!
Blue Ridge Bicycle Club – The purpose of the Blue Ridge Bicycle Club is to promote and encourage the use of bicycles for transportation and recreation in southwestern Virginia; to support the rights of cyclists; to provide information in the interest of cycling and safety; and to provide a variety of recreational and competitive cycling opportunities for our members.

Star City Striders –The Star City Striders is a volunteer organized group of active individuals who celebrate a running and walking lifestyle. We welcome all fitness levels to take part in races and group runs. The Star City Striders have been around since the late 1970’s as a resource for runners and walkers in the area.
C&C Runners – C&C Runners (Childress & Crew Runners) was born in 2010 out of a dream of creating a group of runners of all skill levels who support each other’s passion for running. The purpose of the team is to support each other in our pursuit of fitness, offering an outlet for our passion of running and Walking.
